The Internet is a communication and information medium that is freely available to anyone who sees fit to use it.  Therefore, there will always be undesirable material available.  The school has taken steps to ensure our school members are not able to access this material.  Our Internet access is provided through a filtering system via ICT Services at Portsmouth City Council;  If unsuitable sites are found, the address and content will be reported to the ICT managers, who will contact the Internet Support Provider (ISP).  Any illegal material found will be reported to the Internet Watch Foundation;

All parents will be asked to sign an Acceptable Use Policy for the use of the Internet on entry to school. and, additionally, asked to notify school if they do not wish their child to have access to or use the Internet.
